The city of Arlington is planning to swap parcels of land with Viridian Holdings to prepare a canoe launching area along the West Fork of the Trinity just east of Collins.
Except for two abstentions, the Arlington city council was unanimous in agreeing to trade ten acres of city-owned land for four acres owned by Viridian, which agreed to pay for improvements on its four acres including facilities for the launch site.
