Senator John Cornyn co-chaired a congressional hearing Wednesday in Washington questioning a potential cover-up into former President Joe Biden's health and mental capacity during his presidency.
Senator Cornyn at one point questioned the possibility if some Cabinet members may have committed crimes.
"There was a conspiracy to hide the president's true condition by his family, by his staff, by the media, and many elected officials," Cornyn said.
"Some have suggested that there may be potential crimes committed by members of the Cabinet by failing to act," Cornyn said during questioning.
Cornyn sent a letter to the Justice Department in recent weeks calling for them to launch an investigation.
Democrats did not call any witnesses in the hearing nor did they attend.
