Today is the last day of early voting in Texas and this year there's been a nice turnout in Tarrant County.
Tarrant County Elections administrator Heider Garcia says because the mayors of Arlington and Fort Worth are leaving, and their is a special election for the congressional seat left vacant by the passing of Congressman Ron Wright, Tarrant County officials are seeing almost double the turnout that
they did in 2019.
Garcia says today is traditionally the busiest day of early voting - the last day.
In Tarrant County you can vote at any voting center in the county. The polls close at 7 tonight.
Election Day is this Saturday.
