The people who have been in charge of entertainment at the White House over the past three decades will share "behind-the-scenes stories" at an event in Dallas next week.

The George W. Bush Presidential Center on the SMU campus is hosting former White House Social Secretaries on Monday.

Anita McBride, former assistant to President Bush and Chief of Staff to First Lady Laura Bush, will lead the conversation about what it's really like to host events like State Dinners and picnics at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Other panelists include Amy Zantzinger, who also worked in the Bush administration; Jeremy Bernard, who worked under President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama; and Gahl Hodges Burt, former social secretary to President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan.

The program starts at 6:00 p.m. Monday. You will need a ticket to attend and those can be purchased online.
