Dallas Congressman Colin Allred is joining other lawmakers in Washington D.C. in calling for the US to freeze assets belonging to Iran, again.
The US released $6 billion belonging to Iran as part of a prisoner swap, with the condition that the money could only be used for humanitarian purposes.
The Biden Administration has said none of the money has been spent yet.
Earlier this week, Senator John Cornyn of Texas and several other Republicans called on the White House to re-freeze those assets because Iran is a supporter of terrorist organizations, including Hamas.
Now, Democratic Congressman Colin Allred is joining them saying Iran can not go unpunished for its support of Hamas.
