A man seen lounging at the desk of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during the Capitol riots was reportedly arrested Friday.

Richard Barnett, 60, was arrested hundreds of miles away in Arkansas, a Justice Department official told NBC News.

He was charged with entering and remaining on restricted grounds, violent entry and theft of public property, according to the report. It's unclear what he was accused of stealing.

Barnett is from Gravette, Arkansas, the New York Times reported.

There have been calls for his arrest since photos captured him seated in Pelosi’s office during the Capitol siege on Wednesday.
