Dallas County Health Department officials say a sick fox was found in Grand Prairie, and there's a chance it had rabies.
Officials say Animal control picked up the fox near South Carrier Parkway and East Sandra Lane on April 14th before it passed away.
They tested the fox for rabies but the results were inconclusive, so the health department is warning there is a chance it died because of rabies.
The health department is asking anyone who may have been bitten or scratched by the sick fox to contact Dallas County Health immediately.
Also, if someone has a pet that may have been exposed they should immediately take it to the vet.
