Outgoing General Manager Jim Oliver will not be receiving a $300,000 payment from the Tarrant Regional Water District.
According to reports, Oliver was promised the money by former TRWD board president Jack Stevens who directed that Oliver be paid for about 2,000 hours of unused vacation and other paid time off.
However, current board president Leah King says that would violate policy so the board of directors has voted to revoke the payment.
In March, Oliver announced his retirement after leading the water district for 35 years.
In May, Stevens unexpectedly lost his bid for re-election after 17 years on the board.
