America First Legal, a group founded by former Trump administration officials and led by former aide Stephen Miller, has filed suit against the Biden administration.

The lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Texas Ag Commissioner Sid Miller asking Federal District Court Judge Reed O'Connor to stop a USDA program from directing aid to racial and ethnic minorities that Stephen Miller says discriminates against white farmers and is illegal.

Miller is taking the feds to court as a private citizen.

The lawsuit names USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack, in seeking changes to a 2021 American Rescue Plan Act program. That initiative directs aid to a "socially disadvantaged farmer or rancher" defined by the Agriculture Department as African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, Alaskan natives, Asian Americans or Pacific Islanders, who have been hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic.
