Texas is suing the Biden Administration over federal guidelines aimed at protecting LGBTQ people in the workplace.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton called the guidelines issued in June "illegal," saying his office will fight the Biden Administration's radical attempts at social change.
He says the guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission violates the first and eleventh amendments.
The federal guidelines say employees should be allowed to use the restroom of their gender identity and says not using a person's preferred pronouns could be considered harassment in some instances.
Ehe EEOC says it does not comment on pending lawsuits.
