Two Denton school district elementary school principals have been indicted on misdemeanor charges of electioneering.

Reports say the two principals are accused of using their official school emails to distribute political advertisements.


They are identified as Alexander Elementary Principal Lindsay Lujan and her husband, Borman Elementary Principal Jesus Lujan.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued several North Texas school districts back in February, accusing the districts of electioneering. They include Denton, Frisco, Castleberry, Denison, and Aledo.
