He'll take the stand! That's what we're learning about the upcoming impeachment trial of suspended Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

According to a leaked witness list, Paxton will be called to testify.

Paxton may take the 5th for every question, but a report says Paxton will be called as a witness in his own impeachment trial. The list was obtained by the Dallas Morning News.

Paxton's lawyers have said he will not answer questions.

The suspended Attorney General also has a criminal case pending. The witness list also includes the likes of a woman with whom Paxton is alleged to have had an affair. Paxton's wife, who is a Texas State Senator, two of Paxton's last Republican primary challengers and Republican stratigist Karl Rove may also be called to testify.
