A killer is on the run in South Oak Cliff where a man was gunned down last night.
Kendrick Hampton was shot about 7 p.m. and was rushed to the ER but it was too late to save his life.
Police got the call sending them to the location on South Lancaster near Kiest. But witnesses told officers that while Hampton had been shot there, someone drove him to another location where paramedics picked him up.
The gunman got away and police are not saying who he was or why he did it.
