The Amber Alert is over. Both kids were found safe in Kilgore with the suspect!
Police across the state are searching for two children and a 32-year-old man.
An Amber Alert was issued early Tuesday morning for 10-year-old Ashlynn Wells and 11-year-old Desmond Wells. They were last seen in Rusk, south of Tyler.
Police are also looking for 32-year-old Jesse Ray Schmidt. Schmidt stands about 5' 10" and goes about 160 pounds. He is pictured with a very full beard and moustache. He was believed to be driving a black 2012 Honda Civic with Texas tags with the number BNX-6155.
