A 42-year-old woman faces a charge of criminal mischief in connection to an "unintentional" fire in a dumpster outside the office of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Wednesday, officials say.

The fire was captured on surveillance video Wednesday night and appeared to start after the woman threw, "what appears to be a lit cigarette" into the dumpster behind the office building, according to a statement from Paxton.

The statement said that after the Texas Department of Public Safety interviewed the woman, they determined there were no political motivations behind the incident.
