More than two years after the tragic mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, construction has resumed on a new school there - thanks to a massive donation.
The donation is coming from the Kate Briscoe Marmion Charitable Foundation set up by late Governor Dolph Briscoe Jr in memory of his only daughter, who was killed at the age of 20.
His grandson Dolph Briscoe IV announced the donation from the construction site. Construction had been halted in December.
No date has been set yet for the destruction of Robb Elementary.
