Music legend Dolly Parton makes her first-ever appearance at South by Southwest in Austin on Friday.
It's a joint event with Parton and author James Patterson during an Austin City Limits Live show at the Moody Theater in Austin.
They'll be discussing their new novel "Run, Rose, Run" which was released early this month.
Afterward, Dolly will offer a live performance of songs from her companion "Run, Rose, Run" album plus some of hits.
