A Houston fashion designer claims she had her luggage stolen from Reagan International Airport in Washington D.C. and later saw some of her stolen clothing worn by a now-fired Biden administration official.
In a viral tweet, the Tanzanian designer Asya Khamsin shows one of her creations, a distinctive looking garment she calls a kimono. Next to that is a photo of Sam Brinton, a former Biden administration deputy assistant secretary for the Office of Nuclear Energy who was fired last year after being accused in two cases of felony theft of luggage; one in Minneapolis and one in Las Vegas.
Khamsin reports she too had a bag stolen at Reagan International and that the garment Brinton is wearing is her stolen kimono.
In a response to her tweet, Reagan International replies "Asya - we're sorry to hear this. Please contact our Police Department at PDCIS@mwaa.com and update your original report with this new information."
Last week, Brinton had a court appearance in Minneapolis and was released without bail on orders that he not contact any of his accusers.
