With winter approaching a lot of us are planning some warm weather get-aways, and it's a good time for a new cruise line operating out of Texas.
M-S-C Cruises recently cut the ribbon on its new facility at Terminal 16 at the Port of Galveston and then the M-S-C Seascape set sail on its first cruise out of Texas.
It's operating out of the brand-new fourth cruise terminal at the port.
Galveston officials are also celebrating the commitment by Norwegian Cruise Line to operate more sailings out of the port.
Galveston's Mayor says the new cruise terminal will mean more jobs and economic growth for the region.
