Pornhub has decided to disable its site in Texas following a lawsuit from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over the site's age-verification practices.
The popular adult streaming site had sued Texas along with other pro-porn plaintiffs to keep a new age verification law from taking effect. They claimed that the law violates the First Amendment and porn users' privacy.
But a judgment from the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Texas can enforce the law.
In a statement, Porn Hub called the Texas age-verification "ineffective, haphazard and dangerous."
