Flu, RSV, and COVID cases are spiking in Texas and doctors expect it to get worse.

Children’s Medical Center Plano reported 279 flu cases last week, nearly doubling the previous count. RSV and COVID cases are climbing, too.

Experts say a "Silent" COVID Surge hit over the holidays. They say high levels of COVID have been found in wastewater across 21 states and that is how they know about this silent holiday surge.

They warn against many overlooking mild symptoms and risking further spread during family gatherings and travel. The CDC is warning families to take precautions as they expect cases to peak in January and February.
