Last night, it was 'Guns Up' for Texas Tech at the Texas Bowl in Houston as the Red Raiders beat Ole Miss 42-25.
The game was marred by a fourth quarter incident where Mississippi coach Lane Kiffin claimed a Tech player spit on one of his players and possibly used a racial slur during a scramble for a fumble.
Kiffin was upset that one of his players was flagged for a personal foul when, in his view, the foul should have been called on Tech.
There was no comment on the issue from the Texas Tech side.
