It's more bragging rights for a Texas water park, again named the best in the world.
If you have ever been to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, you get it. You understand why for the 25th year in a row Amusement Today has named Schlitterbahn the best in the world, granting the Texas water park it's Golden Ticket award once again.
Amusement Today is an Arlington-based publication that covers trends in amusement and water parks around the world. Awards are determined by votes from travelers who visit the parks and Schlitterbahn has won every year since the awards started back in 1998.
Schlitterbahn General Manager Darren Hill says it's the team that consistently delivers amazing experiences to all guests, adding "making people happy is what we do." In fact it's often been referred to as the coolest funnest time in Texas.
