In a recent video, a Texas constable has a stark reminder for pet owners.
Fort Bend County Constable Chad Norvell is circulating a video from Pecan Grove showing a coyote trot up to a six-foot high backyard fence and make the top of the fence in a single, easy hop.
In the video, the coyote steps onto the roof of a shed next door and just waits there, as if biding his time for some prey to come by.
Norvell says over the holiday weekend, nearby residents lost their dog to a coyote. From the video, he says it's clear a six-foot fence is no obstacle and no protection for pets.
