The search is on for the suspect in an early morning hit-and-run that killed two people today in Dallas.
"The suspect literally just left the victims there for dead," says Dallas Police Sgt. Tramese Jones.
Police say a man and woman were walking in the street in the 10200 block Denton Drive a little after 3 a.m. when they were run down by the driver.
"The vehicle struck both the victims and left the scene without leaving any information, without offering any aid … they just left the scene, and left the victims there," Jones says.
By the time emergency crews made it to the scene, she says it was too late to save the victims.
Police are working to identify the suspect. Anyone who might have seen what happened is asked to call 911.
