Two men killed in unrelated Fort Worth shootings have now been identified.
On Sunday, a man from the Texas panhandle town of Tulia was found shot in an apartment near I-35 and Rendon Crowley Road. Roel Devorra died at JPS.
About ten hours later, another shooting victim was found in east Fort Worth. A Balch Springs man named Meliton Salinas was found dead in a car on Tierney Road near Lancaster Road and Loop 820.
In both cases, the killers got away and detectives don't yet know why Devorra and Salinas were shot. But they don't believe the killings are connected.
