A beautiful day today, but another strong cold front is on the way

Were waking up to temperatures in the upper thirties to mid forties this morning. You'll definitely need your jacket heading out the door, but you won't need it this afternoon, as temperatures warm into the low to mid seventies. A beautiful day ahead!

Tonight, temperatures will fall to near 50゚ under a fair sky.


On Tuesday, a strong cold front comes through the area before noon. Morning temperatures will warm into the low to mid sixties, but will fall into the fifties through the afternoon. Unfortunately, no rain will accompany the cold front.

A freeze watch is in effect just north and west of the DFW area for Wednesday morning. Don't forget to cover tender vegetation and bring potted plants indoors.

Temperatures won't warm too much on Wednesday as we struggle to hit 60゚ with sunshine.

Temperatures won't be as cold on Thursday morning, but still chilly for this this time of the year, as readings fall back into the forties.

Another cool day for all on Thursday with sunshine. Highs will warm into the mid to upper sixties. Clouds will also increase through the day. There could even be some showers moving into the area by late Thursday night.

Friday's weather looks cloudy and rainy with some strong thunderstorms possible. I will monitor the threat for severe weather throughout the week.

Weekend, overall looks pretty good with some morning showers and storms Saturday, then  clouds decrease with highs in the seventies. Sunday looks nice as well with temperatures in the upper seventies.

I know a lot of you want the warm weather, but this week looks cooler than average. I'll see what I can do for you for next week!
