More beautiful weather is in store for north Texas through Friday, before a pretty strong cold front blows through here early Saturday dropping temperatures into the weekend and bringing a slight rain chance with it.
A weak cold front moved through the area while you've been sleeping, but unfortunately, no rain accompanied this front. This morning, you may need a jacket as temperatures have fallen into the upper 30s to mid-40s under a clear sky. Sunny and cooler today with a high in the low 60s. Wind will be light from the north.
Clear and cold tonight with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s. Sunny and cool tomorrow and Wednesday with highs in the mid 60s.
Thursday and Friday will be windy and warmer with plenty of sunshine. Highs on Thursday will reach the low 70s, and mid to upper 70s on Friday.

Our next weather change arrives early Saturday morning as a strong cold front blows through the area. As of now, rain chances are slim across north Texas. Greatest chances, as of now, will be south and east of DFW. Wind will shift to the north and gust to 30 mph, as temperatures fall through the 50s during the day. Temperatures will continue to fall into the 30s by Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon will be sunny and chilly with highs only in the mid 50s.
