A quick warming trend over the next couple of days and then Arctic air spills in the North Texas Wednesday morning.
Plenty of sunshine for today and tomorrow. Highs today will be in the low sixties, low to mid seventies for tomorrow.
By Wednesday morning, a strong Arctic air mass will plunge into the area, dropping temperatures into the forties by afternoon, With a north wind gusting to 30 mph. As of now, no precipitation is expected along the front.
Temperatures by Thursday morning will drop into the low to mid twenties. Readings won't warm up much at all during the day. Highs will be in the upper thirties.
After a hard freeze Friday morning, temperatures will only warm into the low to mid forties.
Two more freezes are expected both Saturday and Sunday morning. Highs Saturday will be in the mid forties. Low fifties by Sunday.
NOTE: There will be a couple of upper level disturbances crossing the area late in the week. As of now, I think the air will be too dry to see any type of precipitation. I will, however, continue to monitor this through the week.
