We're above freezing this morning! We actually got above freezing a little after 11:00 yesterday morning. Yesterday's high was 44 at DFW, today's high will be in the mid-50s.
Now I wish I could tell you our warming trend will continue, but unfortunately, I can't. Another Arctic boundary will plow through the area after midnight tonight dropping temperatures into the low to mid 20s overnight. Wind chills will be in the teens when you wake up tomorrow morning.

Please drip your faucets again tonight through Sunday afternoon.
Sunny, windy and cold tomorrow with highs only in the mid 30s. Some areas along the Red River may stay below freezing. The wind chill will be in the twenties all day long.
The cold air sticks around through the weekend. Saturday's temperatures will be the coldest through the weekend, as morning loves dip into the upper teens to lower 20s. Even though the sun will be out Saturday, we'll remain cold with highs in the mid 30s, but the wind will be light.

Our next weather change arrives on Sunday as clouds rapidly increase. This will hold temperatures below 40°. Light rain moves in towards midnight, as temperatures fall into the low to mid-30s. I think we'll be safely above freezing around here, so I'm not expecting any icing. Areas along the Red River need to keep an eye on this late Sunday into Monday morning.

Waves of rain will move into the area Monday through Wednesday. You won't see rain the entire time. Temperatures will warm back into the 50s through the week. Also, it's still way too early to talk about rainfall totals, but all of you will get off and on rain Monday through Wednesday. As of today, it looks like East Texas will see the most rain.
