NWS

Here are your weather stories over the next seven days... A chance of a chilly rain later today through Saturday morning, temperatures remain below average through Saturday, a perfect Easter Sunday, and a warm-up into next week.

We're waking up the temperatures in the forties this morning with the north wind gusting to 20mph. The radar is quiet right now, but a large area of rain lurks to our south and will slowly drift in our direction by this evening. Afternoon highs will remain cool with readings in the mid to upper fifties.

Light rain will work its way into the area overnight tonight and into the day tomorrow....but, the heaviest rain will remain south and east of DFW. Morning lows will be in the forties again with afternoon highs only in the mid to upper fifties.

Light rain will continue tomorrow night through Saturday morning before the sun makes an appearance again by afternoon. Highs will approach seventy degrees.

Easter Sunday looks awesome with plenty of sunshine...high temperatures will be in the mid-seventies.

A slow warm-up will continue into the middle of next week with highs back in the eighties!
