A large area of rain will continue to work its way from west to east into North Texas this morning, ending from west to east by this afternoon. Average rainfall totals will be around a half of an inch with isolated higher totals possible. A couple of claps of thunder are possible as well, but nothing severe is expected. Temperatures will hover in the low 50s during the rain event .
Skies will clear this evening through the early morning tomorrow with morning lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

The weekend's looking spectacular. After some morning clouds tomorrow plenty of sunshine will greet you during the day. High temperatures will remain cool into the mid 50s. Sunday looks equally as nice, but a little warmer. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s.
A weak cold front will move through the area Monday morning dropping temperatures back into the upper 50s for highs. The forecast remains the same for Tuesday as well. Morning lows will dip into the 30s.
Considerable high cloudiness will dominate our weather Tuesday through Thursday. Warming temperatures as well. Readings will top out in the mid to upper 60s both Wednesday and Thursday. There's also a chance for some rain working its way into the area by late Thursday night. Friday and Saturday may be rather wet around the area.
