Freeze warning until 9:00 a.m., another cool day today, warming up big time towards the end of the week and into the weekend, no rain for a while and spring starts soon. Those are your weather stories for the next 7 days.

Good morning my friends, happy Saint Patrick's Day and welcome to Tuesday! Bundle up! Temperatures have fallen into the upper 20s to mid-30s across North Texas. Again, we have a freeze warning in effect until 9:00 a.m. Hopefully, your pets were snuggled up against you in bed last night and you covered your plants. Today will be another beautiful day as temperatures warm up! Expect plenty of sunshine, low humidity and afternoon highs reaching the upper 60s. South wind at 15 to 25 mph.

The warming trend will continue tomorrow all the way through the weekend. Afternoon highs will warm into the upper 70s with a south wind at 10 to 20 mph. Morning lows will be in the 40s.

An upper level high pressure system building into the desert Southwest will start to make its way into our area by the end of the week and especially this weekend, bringing near record-breaking heat! Thursday will warm up into the mid to Upper 80s, Friday, low '90s. 92 I believe is the record for Friday.

It gets even warmer than that. Afternoon highs will reach the mid-90s this weekend with morning lows in the 60s. Perfect weather for Spring breakers, especially if you're heading down to the Texas coast this week!

A cold front may reach the area Sunday night dropping temperatures into the low 70s for Monday, but that forecast is seven days out and subject to change. Unfortunately, no rain is in the forecast for a while y'all!

It's great to be back! Have a blessed day and enjoy the weather when you can, it's the only weather you've got.
