This forecast discussion will be short and sweet! A prolonged period of sunny and mild weather is expected, with highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s, persisting for the next 7 days. Back to you Bob! LOL!
In all seriousness, I will provide a detailed breakdown of the weather pattern. Following a period of active weather earlier this week and last weekend, a calming trend is expected to commence across the Eastern two-thirds of the United States. A surface high-pressure system will continue to drift east of the Mississippi River, leading to a return of southerly winds, albeit light. Daytime highs will reach the mid-80s, while morning lows will dip into the 60s across the area. No precipitation is forecasted.
Notably, the next couple of days will feature approximately equal hours of daylight and nighttime, with 12 hours each. Additionally, the sun's position will be nearly due west and due east, potentially causing problems seeing during your morning and evening commutes.
The State Fair, opening tomorrow, will benefit from the favorable weather conditions. This pleasant weather will persist through the weekend and into next week, as an upper-level high-pressure system dominates the Lone Star State. Morning lows will remain in the 60s, while afternoon highs will reach the upper 80s. Again, no precipitation is expected within the next 7 days.
Eventually, the weather pattern will shift, and stronger cold fronts will begin to impact the region in October.
I encourage everyone to appreciate the stable weather pattern, have a pleasant day, and enjoy the weather when you can, it's the only weather you've got.
