The past few days have been downright gorgeous across north Texas! Yesterday, officially at DFW Airport, we topped out at 73° after a morning low of 44°.

We're waking up to temperatures in the upper 40s to mid 50s under a clear sky. Afternoon highs today will creep into the low to mid 80s with a south wind gusting to 25 mph. A high grass fire danger is in place west of I-35W.
Plenty of sunshine will dominate north Texas through the rest of the week and into the weekend. Afternoon highs tomorrow will reach the low to mid 80s, warming to near 90 on Friday. 90° will be a popular number for Saturday and Sunday as well.

Next week will start off mostly sunny with a high on Monday in the mid to upper 80s. Increasing clouds on Tuesday, a bit cooler with highs in the low 80s.
Starting Tuesday night through Thursday, the remnants of what's soon to become Hurricane Nora in the Eastern Pacific will spread moisture into Texas on Wednesday and Thursday. It's still way too early to tell exactly when and where the heaviest rain will fall, but I will continue to keep you all updated as we move into next week.
