Believe it or not, on Wednesday we hit 79゚! We'll hover right around that number today through Sunday for afternoon highs. Morning lows will creep up into the 50s for Friday and Saturday morning. 60s for lows on Sunday.

You'll also notice the wind picking up tomorrow through the weekend as well. This will keep temperatures well above average, with afternoon highs approaching 80゚ through Sunday.

Unfortunately, no rain is in the forecast until late Sunday and early Monday morning for DFW. There may be some shower activity of Dallas on Saturday.

On Sunday, Ill be keeping an eye on the dryline surging out of west Texas, and upper level low cruising through the plains states and a cold front. All three features will be approaching north Texas late Sunday afternoon into early Monday morning.

Scattered storms will start to break out along the dryline late Sunday afternoon and evening, mainly west and north of DFW. Right now, it looks like our best chance for rain across all of north Texas, with a few strong to isolated severe storms, will be late Sunday night through early Monday morning, as the cold front comes through. I will monitor as usual.

You will wake up Monday morning to windy and cooler temperatures. Readings will be in the sixties early Monday morning before you wake up and fall into the fifties by afternoon, as the clouds clear out.

Below average temperatures will continue Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid fifties Tuesday, low sixties on Wednesday.
