We're waking up to temperatures in the upper sixties to lower seventies. South wind is back. This will warm temperatures up into the mid to upper 80s today.
Clouds will rapidly increase tonight as a line of thunderstorms develops to the west of DFW after 7 pm. This line of storms will plow through the area between 3am and 8am tomorrow morning. Damaging winds will be the main threat, however, some small hail may be embedded in the stronger storms. The tornado threat is very very low.
By mid morning, skies will clear and the wind will shift to the WNW gusting to 30mph, ushering very dry air. Temperatures will still reach the low to mid seventies, but a heck of a lot cooler than today!
Temperatures will drop into the upper forties to low fifties for Thursday morning, with highs struggling to get about 70゚. The wind on Thursday could gust as high as 45mph.
Windy conditions will continue into Friday as well, with lows in the forties and highs and the upper sixties!
A slow warm up into the weekend with less wind and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will be in the upper fifties to mid sixties for trick-or-treaters.
