Temperatures remain in the upper 90s across North Texas, and while Oklahoma is getting plenty of rain, it's unlikely any of it will reach Dallas-Fort Worth.

Temperatures will come close to 100 degrees on Monday, but as of 7 a.m., no Heat Advisories had been issued. They will return with a vengeance starting Tuesday, with Excessive Heat Warnings possible by the weekend. Afternoon highs will approach 100 on Monday, 101 on Tuesday, 102 on Wednesday and Thursday, 103 on Friday, and between 104 and 107 this weekend.

Average high temperatures start to trend downward on Thursday as fall slowly approaches.
