Temperatures started off in the 40s on Valentine's Day morning but will warm up nicely with highs in the mid to upper 60s. A south wind will gust to 30 mph.

High clouds will increase Wednesday night with lows near 50 degrees.

Thursday will be equally as nice with high clouds, less wind and highs near 70 degrees.

The next weather change arrives late Friday, as a cold front drops temperatures into Saturday. There is a very slight chance of a shower or two along the front, but not before temperatures warm back near 70 degrees.

North Texas will wake up Saturday morning to a clear sky, a ton of wind (gusts to 35 mph) and much colder temperatures. Reading will dip into the low to mid-30s, with wind chills in the low 20s. Sunny, windy, and chilly weather will continue through the day. Afternoon highs will only reach the mid to upper 40s.

Prepare for an area-wide freeze Sunday morning, but temperatures will rebound nicely by the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s.

Our warming trend continues next week with plenty of sunshine. Monday we'll reach the upper 60s. Mid to upper 70s by Tuesday.
