We'll go from winter, to spring, back to winter over the next 7 days, as Mother Nature's mood swings continue.

Again, we're starting off very cold this morning with temperatures in the 20s. At least the wind has relaxed! Sunny and cool conditions will prevail today with highs in the low to mid 50s.

The weekend is looking nice with a warming trend! We'll start off near freezing tomorrow morning, but temperatures will rebound nicely into the low to mid 60s. Sunday will be equally as nice and a bit warmer. South winds will pick up, as we warm into the low 70s!

Monday's even warmer! How about low 80s with increasing clouds. There is a chance for some scattered strong thunderstorms late Monday into early Tuesday morning. I will monitor, but I'm not overly concerned about it getting too bad. And then, it's back to Winter!

An Arctic cold front will plow through the area during the day Tuesday. We'll go from the mid sixties down to below freezing Wednesday morning.

Clouds will thicken up on Wednesday and there's a decent chance for rain changing over to freezing rain and then sleet as the day wears. Temperatures hover near freezing or slightly below.

Our wintry mix chance will continue into Thursday as well. Temperatures will remain ominously close to freezing.

Please keep in mind we're 5 to 6 days out from this possible winter weather event. Lots could change between now and then. The track of the upper level low and the surface temperatures .The most important thing to watch will be the temperatures. I'm about 70% sure that there'll be precipitation around.
