We're waking up to a cloudy sky this morning with temperatures ranging from 55゚ to 60゚ across north Texas. Nothing is showing up on radar right now, but that will change as we head into tomorrow afternoon and evening.
Clouds will slowly exit from west to east by this afternoon, as temperatures warm into the low to mid 70s.
Tonight, clouds will invade once again with lows only in the low sixties. Average low is now is in the upper forties.
More clouds than sun tomorrow, with a chance for some scattered showers developing during the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the low to mid seventies again.
Our next weather maker will be moving in from the west by mid to late evening tomorrow. The dry line will surge east out of west Texas producing A-line of showers and thunderstorms. Right now, the timing looks to be late evening across the immediate Dallas/Fort Worth area. If I were to put a timeline on this, it would be between 8 PM (west of DFW)and midnight (east of DFW). We do have a level one out of 5 for severe storms... with wind (10%) being the primary threat. Some small hail (5%) is possible and the tornado threat is very-very low (2%).
When you wake up Thursday morning, skies will have cleared, the humidity will have dropped, the wind will be gusting for the north up to 25mph and the temperatures will be in the low fifties. Some forties are possible along the Red River Valley.
Veterans Day (thank you for your service) Thursday looks awesome! Plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid sixties.
More of the same for Friday, as a reinforcing shot a cooler air arrives. High temperatures will be in the low to mid sixties again(our average high this time of the year is 69゚).
The weekend is looking spectacular! Plenty of sunshine with highs near 70゚ both days. Another DRY cold front moves through by Sunday afternoon, dropping temperatures into the low sixties for highs into next Monday.
That's all I've got for now! I'll continue to monitor the isolated severe weather potential over the next 36 hours, but I'm not overly concerned about a big severe weather outbreak.
