Well, well, well, look who's back for another exciting week of work. Welcome to Monday, folks. I'm your weather guy, and I'm thrilled to be here at the crack of dawn, 3:00 a.m. to be exact. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and are ready to tackle this week.
Now, let's get to the good stuff – the weather. It's looking pretty chill, pun intended, with temperatures at or below freezing this morning. So, don't forget to warm up those cars and scrape off that frost. Today's going to be the coldest day until the weekend, but don't worry, we've got plenty of sunshine to make up for it. Afternoon highs will be in the low 50s, and it'll be a breeze – literally, with a light and variable wind.
The rest of the week is looking pretty sweet, with a slow warm-up on the way. We'll hit the low 60s tomorrow, and by Wednesday and Thursday, we'll be in the mid-60s. A weak front will move in, but it's not going to bring any precipitation.
We'll get a bit of a cool-down on Friday, but don't worry, it's not going to last. A stronger front will move in on Friday night, and we'll be back to the low 50s by Saturday. But hey, at least the sun will be out.
Clouds will be on the increase this weekend as temperatures cool off again. Afternoon highs will settle into the low 50s, with morning lows in the 30s. A few lucky ones may see some showers around, but as of now, it looks like the measurable rain will stay south of north Texas. I'll be watching.
The polar jet stream is going to take the coldest air to the Eastern United States, but we'll just get a little graze here in North Texas. No major Arctic outbreaks are expected.
So, that's it for now. Have a fantastic day, a wonderful week, and enjoy the weather when you can – it's the only weather you've got.
