Cool mornings and pleasant afternoons through the weekend

A cold front is now through the area, but the cooler air hasn't arrived yet. It's lagging behind of couple 100 miles.

Temperatures this morning are actually warmer than the past couple of mornings.

Wind will pick up from the north northeast at 10 to 20 mph this afternoon with highs near 80. A good 12゚ cooler than yesterday! It's a great day to have lunch outdoors!

Another night in the 40s tonight north of town. We should settle into the low 50s in DFW.  A spectacular day tomorrow to end our work-week with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

This weekend will be spectacular, except there is a very small chance of showers north of DFW in the wee hours of the morning Sunday. Highs will be near 80 with low temps in the 50s.

A slow warm up is expected into next week. We MAY even  hit 90 degrees b4 the end of the week! CRAZY!
