What a wonderful morning it is! Nice and cool for this time of the year. Our average low is 73゚ and all of us have fallen into the sixties!

Enjoy today, because temperatures are going to heat up rapidly by the end of the week. Highs today will be in the middle eighties, low nineties tomorrow and the mid to upper nineties Thursday through Saturday. Factor in the oppressive humidity, the heat index will approach 105゚ before the end of the week. Heat Advisories may have to briefly be issued across north Texas.

Our next weather change arrives late Saturday through the middle of next week... as a cold front most likely stalla somewhere across north Texas. This will increase rain chances and drop the temperatures into the eighties for highs. There is a threat for heavy rain, but it's still way too early to hone in on where the highest amounts will fall. Stay tuned for more information as we approach the weekend and into early next week.

In the meantime, enjoy your cool morning and you're gorgeous day today!
