We still have a small window for isolated severe storms to form between 6am and 9am, mainly north of DFW. Large hail will be the threat if any do decide to form. We're also dealing with some areas of dense fog this morning. Drive safe!
Partly cloudy, warm and humid today with highs between 85-90 degrees. There's also a slight chance of a late day severe storm east and southeast of DFW.
We start to heat up on Thursday as afternoon highs creep into the mid to upper nineties! One or two of you may also see an isolated late day storm.

Our first triple digit heat of 2023 arrives this weekend, lasting into next week, as an upper level ridge of high pressure builds across north Texas. Afternoon highs will range from 100 to 103゚. Heat index values 105°+. Heat advisories are expected.
A northwest flow in the upper levels of the atmosphere will be in place for the next several days. Storms will form in eastern Colorado and western Kansas during the late afternoon hours. These will be moving to the SE through the overnight hours each day. Some of these may clip parts of North and NE Texas in the wee hours of the morning.
