Temperatures are well below freezing this morning with readings in the mid to upper teens. Wind chills are in the single digits. We're finally going to be above freezing after the noon hour today. We will have plenty of sunshine, but it will be windy and warmer today with highs in the low 40s. Wind chills will be in the 30s with a gusty southerly wind.
It will be clear and chilly tomorrow morning, but not nearly as cold as we've been feeling the past several mornings. Morning lows will dip into the mid to upper 30s with wind chills in the 20s. A south wind gusting to 35 mph.
Plenty of sunshine will greet you on Thursday as temperatures warm into the mid-50s. But another Arctic boundary slides through the area by Thursday evening. This will drop temperatures into the low to mid-20s by Friday morning. Wind chills will be in the teens, with a gusty northerly wind.
Plenty of sunshine to round out our workweek on Friday, with highs in the low to mid-30s. North winds gusting to 30 mph.
Morning lows will dip in the teens in some areas on Saturday. Sunshine will dominate the day with afternoon highs only in the mid-30s. The wind will lighten up.

Clouds increase rapidly on Sunday as a southerly wind returns. Unfortunately, temperatures won't warm much with highs only in the upper 30s.
Rain is back in the forecast late Sunday, off and on through Tuesday. I need to keep an eye on the temperatures Sunday night with the onset of precipitation as some areas will be close to or slightly below freezing. It's too early to tell if there'll be any icing, but the good news is, it'll safely warm above freezing by mid-morning Monday. Afternoon highs on Monday will be near 40°. On-and-off rain will continue into Tuesday with highs pushing 50°.
