It's a comfortably cool morning this morning, as temperatures have fallen into the 50s. Today will be the coolest day for the next 7 days with afternoon highs in the mid 80s. We also have an Air Quality Alert in effect today due to the light wind and high pressure overhead.
It's going to feel more like July and August across north Texas starting tomorrow. A large area of high pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere will dominate our weather.
South winds will also increase with gusts to 30 mph. Afternoon highs will reach the mid to upper 90s this weekend, mid 90s all of next week. Are record high for Saturday is 96゚. Sunday's record is 95゚... we'll most likely break a record on Sunday and come close tomorrow.
No rain is in the forecast for the next 7 days either.
