Jacket weather this morning, seasonable weather today, another chilly start for Saturday, but warming up into the 70s this weekend.
By Monday early afternoon, a cold front will drop temperatures back into the 60s for Tuesday, warming briefly on Wednesday, and then cooling back down just in time for Thanksgiving. Also, no rain is in the forecast for the next 7 days. Those are your weather stories through Thanksgiving.
Good morning my friends and followers and TGIF! A big temperature spread this morning under a clear sky. Readings range from 35° in Denton to 44° at DFW Airport. Don't forget to grab your jacket out the door. Sunny and beautiful today with afternoon highs in the mid 60s. The wind will be calm, so don't even think about flying a kite today!
This weekend will be downright gorgeous, but a bit windy. After a chilly start tomorrow morning, afternoon highs will reach the low 70s with a south wind picking up gusting to 25 mph. Sunday is equally as nice, but a bit warmer as the wind veers southwesterly. Gusts to 35 mph are possible. Afternoon highs will approach 80°, especially west of Interstate 35W.
Our next dry cold front arrives sometime after lunch Monday. Some areas will reach the mid 70s before we cool down into the upper 30s to mid 40s for Tuesday morning. Sunny and cool for Tuesday with highs in the mid 60s.
Monday's cold front lifts back to the north Tuesday evening, allowing temperatures to reach the mid to upper 70s on Wednesday. It will be a very windy day as well.
By Wednesday late evening, our next cold front arrives. There could be a few showers around, especially east of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. You'll wake up Thanksgiving morning with a gusty north wind to 30 mph and temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s. Sunny, breezy and cool for Thanksgiving with afternoon highs in the mid 50s. That's it! Friday into the following weekend we'll look for a slow warm up with no precipitation.

Safe travels on the roadways if you're heading out of town early and please enjoy the weather when you can, it's the only weather you've got!
