Tarrant County stole the show yesterday where iver an inch of rain fell in some areas. Unfortunately, most everybody else stay dry. We also underachieved yesterday at DFW Airport, they only hit 99゚!

There is nothing showing up on radar this morning so you will enjoy a dry commute into work. Temperatures range between 74゚and 79゚.


A heat advisory is in effect for today as we top out near 100゚. The feels like temperature will rage between 105゚ and 108゚. There was also a very slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower storm for some of you. Expect more of the same for tomorrow and Saturday.

By late Sunday, a cold front will be crossing the Red River Valley producing widespread shower and thunderstorm activity. Some of these storms may become strong to severe, with some small hail, but mainly damaging wind and lightning will be the threats. Highs on Sunday may approach 100゚ again, depending on how fast the cold front moves into the area.

There will be some lingering showers and storms on Monday as the cold front presses south. This will take most of the rain with it leading into Tuesday Wednesday. High temperatures will only be in the eighties on Monday and then back only into the low nineties for Tuesday and Wednesday. Remember, are average high is now 97゚.

A slow warm up will begin by the end of next week. There may also be another cold front by the following weekend, but that's still 10 days away and is subject to change.
