No heat advisories for a couple of days, no rain unfortunately, and building heat into next week.
We're starting off this morning in the 60s northwest of DFW, 70s elsewhere. Plenty of sunshine will dominate our weather today with afternoon highs only in the upper 90s! That's near average for this time of the year.
A slow warm up is expected into the weekend, but I don't foresee any Heat Advisories until next week. We'll be near 100 tomorrow, around 102° for Sunday with no rain.

Our upper level ridge of high pressure will continue to strengthen and build over the area all of next week. Unfortunately, no rain is in the forecast either. Afternoon highs Monday and Tuesday will range between 102° and 104°. Will be pushing 105° on Wednesday and Thursday, it might even be hotter than that!
Good news is, humidity will remain very low during the afternoon hours, but dangerous heat is in the forecast.
